Dirk Van Erp & California Faience bookends, San Fransisco CA circa 1920. An incredibly rare and fine pair of hammered copper bookends surrounding a set of California Faience galleon tiles. This is one of only a couple known examples that have surfaced and these are in near mint condition. Both tiles are in excellent condition with the original patina to the copper. Both signed with “San Fransisco” mark, one with original black crayon price tag of “$9/pair.” The front copper edges have one small tip to each bookend. Measure 4” square and 4.75” deep. SOLD
