BENEDICT STUDIOS / ONONDAGA METAL SHOPS (OMS)
The Onondaga Metal Shop was based in New York state and is most commonly associated with the L & J.G. Stickley firm who carried their work as part of their furniture line. Their copper work is typically unsigned or features a stylized OMS mark. Many of their forms are similar or identical to the output of the Craftsman Workshops (Gustav Stickley) and these same forms were also produced by the Benedict Art Company whom they later merged with.
