Karl Kipp “Princess” candle lamps, East Aurora NY circa 1912. A pair of classic “princess” candlesticks which have been special ordered from the shop or period converted to electric lamps. The hammered copper candles are unsigned yet have the Kipp rolled bottom edges and retain a wonderful original brown patina. The conversions have their original bakelite fitters and have been rewired with twisted silk cord. Each lamp is paired with a signed “Spookie Shade” dated 1907. These English paper shades have cut out work and colored paper layers which have beautiful depth and ambiance. SOLD
