Marshall Field Craft Shop desk set, Chicago circa 1906. A fine gilt bronze desk set in an ivy/grapevine pattern, MF&Co started this short lived shop to compete with the likes of Tiffany Studios with sets like this. Consists of a large inkwell, a frame, a stamp box, a blotter, pen tray, a pen wipe (no insert) and four blotter corners. Most signed with Craft Shop marks, solid weight to all pieces and in excellent condtion. (Note the cream mat is for display, not included.)
