Hendrik Methorst (1896-1969) copper box, Amsterdam circa 1920. A rare hammered copper box set with a central carnelian stone surrounded by a spectacular display of hammering. Methorst was a central figure of the Dutch Arts & Crafts movement, typically referred to as the Amsterdam School.
