Handel desk lamp, Meriden CT circa 1910. A fine example of this rare desk lamp with a striking hand-painted green Mosserine shade decorated with a geometric pattern in yellow, white and orange. Shade tilts forward and back and base lever allows shade to move up and down. Shade in perfect condition, hand signed on inside of glass. Base with a deep original green and brown patina. Bottom with original felt and “Handel Lamps” label. Shade at 10.5” across, base is 7” by 5” wide. $2250
