Gustav Stickley oil lamp No. 376, Eastwood NY circa 1906. A rare & large lamp form in wonderful condition. This lamp is well documented across the Gus catalogs with both a wicker shade and a reticulated copper shade. The base is supported by four hand wrought iron feet with delicate scrolls at each end. The ironwork features hammered line work across the surface. The central hammered copper canister is secured with iron ball screws and the oil can with a hammered dome sits flush into the canister opening. The Duplex oil works are 100% original and have been completely retained, the new electrical rewire was professionally finished to not disturb any of these parts. The Japanese wicker shade sits atop a round hanger which clips onto the oil font. The shade is in pristine condition and lines up with the original catalog width of 17.5” wide. Interior supports a double wire cloth lining, one small area of staining visible on inside. Gorgeous original patina to both copper and iron. Unsigned, about half of the known examples of this form appear unsigned. Measures 23.5” tall (top of shade support), iron feet at 10” across & 13” on diagonal wide, shade is 17.5” wide at bottom. $12,000

This lamp is fresh to market having been discovered living in a New Orleans bungalow for decades. The original patina was waxed and oil font electrified.
