Buffalo Studios “Turtleback” lantern, California circa 1990. This is a unique reproduction Tiffany Studios large turtleback tile hall lantern, crafted and assembled by a former Buffalo Studios artisan sometime in the 1990s. It is quite large and heavy, crafted of solid bronze and large 8” by 6” tiles. The glass is likely crafted by the Redington Glass Furnaces. The bottom tile was finished with a diagonal solder, appears to be one fixed blemish in this tile. Custom made ceiling mount attaches to large canopy. Original green patina.
