A resident of Adams, Massachusetts, Roy Peebles was a painter who exhibited locally and with the Society of Independent Artists and the Salons of America. The summer school was one of the more important during the Arts & Crafts period (see advertisement from The School Arts Magazine), run by Raymond Ensign of Pratt and assisted by names likes Walter Scott Perry, Henry Turner Bailey, Ernest Watson and more. Framed in a sinuous pie crust frame. Excellent condition. Frame measures 12.25” by 14.25” tall. $350
